help me figure this out

hey friends… this is me reaching out for help from LITERALLY anyone. i’m not a very tech savvy girly so

so i’m using wordpress to set my account up and while it is pretty self explanatory, i still am having issues.

issue 1: on the website homepage the only way i can figure out how to get to my “table of contents” is through the link at the bottom of the page but once you’re on any other page other than the homepage, you have access to a “≡” symbol in the corner which also provides quick links. so i guess my question is: how do i get that symbol to appear on the homepage.

– hell yeah guys i figured out how to get that little logo guy to pop up!! maybe i am tech savvy?

issue 2: the spacing on all the pages is also really weird (like you have to scroll oddly far to read certain things and i can’t figure out how to move certain sections closer together.

issue 3: on ANY of my posts (at this time 2/25/25 i have one) you 1. have to scroll really far to reach the actual post. and 2. how do i get rid of the psychedelic saying at the bottom?!?!?! it’s pissing me off and it NOT pretty!!!!

issue 4: how do i change the order of the links on the “≡” symbol

those are my only issues for now but please please please i’m begging anyone for ay kind of help. i will be updating this page so.. stay active my friends. i promise that i’ll have REAL tastingwithtata post asap.

    Issue #1 can be solved when you go into the Appearance->Customize. You need to customize the menu area locations for your theme. Depending on what theme you have installed will determine the areas the menus can be placed.

    For the menu link ordering, I believe that is under the Appearance->Menus settings. Select the menu you want to edit. You can then add, remove, or change the order of a link. And then save the menu.
