i thought that i was the queen of google maps but…. i didn’t know about the most game changer thing ever. tags. thank you mom for the tik tok video i’m about to link so you guys can get your life changed as well. i love to be oh so very organized in my travel plans and this was the number one thing i could’ve dreamed of. now instead of scrolling through my 600 place long “california- want to go list” i can search by tag and distance!!! sweet heaven.

i hope you guys can read my comments on each place too. let me know if you can’t (but not every place has a comment. but i try to comment on the places that i’ve been)

want to go– everywhere in california i may want to give a try

some of my favorites:

  • vega vineyard, buellton (santa barbara): good wine and food plus so many cute animals
  • mr. tipples, sf: my favorite jazz bar ever mainly because the food is so good but the cover fee is expensive
  • taqueria vallarta, mission sf: i live and die for the al pastor and the photo booth

there’s so many places nearby i want to try so if anyone’s down give me a call and we can go.

wine country– napa/sonoma area

favs:

  • chandon, yountville: best place to start your day, live and die for the garden spritz
  • brasswood grill + bar, st helena: best mozzarella and best pasta
  • winston’s, napa: best breakfast pastries + chicken and waffles, seating kinda sucks
  • tank garage winery, calistoga: old gas station turned tasting room

nyc– one of my favorite places to ever exist

some favs:

  • osteria laguna, midtown: suuuch good pasta it was an amazing on a whim find
  • boqueria w40th, small plates that re all so good, i wanna get a resi at the chefs counter

i’m gonna keep the list light and we can talk about new york later

texas– mainly dallas and austin but man i love texas

here are some favs:

  • taipo, arlington; i LOOOOVE momos and there’s a speakeasy!!!
  • hawkers asian street food, dallas: omg the ribs are to die for and the cocktails are pretty damn good too
  • de nada, austin: food is kinda mid but it’s so fun and i could survive on the frozen margs (if you’re lucky they have mezcalritas)

tennessee– man i love nashville

some favs:

  • velvet taco, nashville: it’s a chain but i love their tacos especially the chicken tikka masala one. very untraditional but very good
  • buffalo exchange, nashville: best thrift EVER

nevada– where we eat at home and shop shop shop

  • buffalo exchange, las vegas: another great buffalo, i’ve gotten two pairs of designer shoes for less than $100 altogether
  • savers, las vegas: another fire thrift

oregon– oh man i love oregon

some favs:

  • the end, portland: mickey’s cocktail bar with menu from ruthie’s, pretty damn good
  • pine state biscuits, portland: 10/10 breakfast and i don’t love biscuits
  • house of vintage: FAT thrift store with a find for everyone, prices vary by vendor
  • telephone vintage: cool thrift with dry cleaner revolving rack, little bit of everything

washington– seattle is cool i guess

some favs:

  • donna’s, seattle: cute bar with pasta and photobooth
  • oddfellows cafe + bar, seattle: super cute neighborhood and really good shakshuka, gets really busy but worth it
  • zaika, seattle: BEST INDIAN FOOD EVER, we’re still writing home about it

utah– i’ve been once and it was better than expected

  • shop vintage, slc: many good finds
  • uptown cheapskate slc: so good for name brand finds

arizona– where i haven’t spent more than 48 hours

  • blacktop grill: elote and hawaiian hotdogs that will blow your mind

hawaii– i’ve been to three islands but we mainly eat at home i guess

canada– everywhere i’ve been (kinda) and want to go

also don’t forget that canada to me is mainly vancouver

here are some favs;

  • the only vintage, van: my go to thrift and right next to my fav taco bar
  • la mezcaleria: next to the only and i love their tacos and cocktail happy hours :p
  • la fabrique st-george winery, van: thank you kaedon for taking me here i love wine and this place is sick
  • mintage mall, van: also pretty sick place on commercial with big selection for thrifting both genders

mexico– cdmx is the only non resort mexico i’ve been to but oh man i love it there

some favs:

  • blanco colima, cdmx: such good food and they have chandon garden spritz
  • club sorbet, cdmx; i love an ice cream wine bar
  • cafe tacobar, cdmx: softest flour tortillas ever and goof cocktails
  • maizaijo, cdmx: fire michelin restaurant; pro tip order small and stay awhile

we have so much to talk about for mexico so look for the blog

france– mainly paris but a few fun ones in there

some favs:

  • le willi’s wine bar, paris: they have multiple bars worldwide but they have the coolest posters ever
  • adelaide, montmarte: a cute bar in such a cute lively area
  • le louis phillipe, paris: cute restaurant with a really good pornstar martini and i ate raw salmon for the first time there it was fire
  • signorvino, paris: fire food and good service plus a huge wine shop

united kingdom– i’ve only been to london

some favs:

  • the dreamery, london: best ice cream wine bar, we went first thing in the morning
  • jacuzzi, london: good food, fun cocktails, and cool bathroom

you guys are overdue to hear about this trip

netherlands– i love amsterdam and the dutch xoxo

some of my favorites you have probably heard about:

  • florentin brunch, amsterdam: best shakshuka ever and thickest orange juice
  • ashoka, amsterdam: good indian wine and momos

italy– i’ve only ever been to milan and lake como so the list is more wants than beens

  • tandoori bites, milan: pretty damn good indian food and probably like the only food worth remembering

spain– where i’m going next stay tuned for barcelona, ibiza, AND madrid

denmark– where i only spent 24 hours and he only reccomendation i can give is to make all reservations in advance

vietnam– i have to keep this one light because i went when i was 16 and i don’t remember anywhere we ate so… no favs

brazil– i’ve never been but here’s place i wanna go. please take me carina

japan– i wanna go so bad

portugal– never been but i was SUPPOSED to go

germany– i wanna go and party for three days straight

miscellaneous– every random place that i don’t quite have a list for yet
